Finished Size:

Finished size is about 12” tall. Size varies based on yarn, crochet hook, and how tightly you crochet.

Special Stitch Instructions:

Most pieces begin with a “ring.” Use any type you feel comfortable with (i.e. Magic Circle, chain 2 and single crochet in second chain, etc). You’ll be working most pieces in a continuous spiral, as indicated by the MC. If your row starts with CH then you’ll be working in regular rows unless otherwise indicated.

The use of a marker is very useful if you’re not used to working in continuous rounds. It’s also great if you have to stop midway.

Attach your eyes now. I use them to line up the ears correctly.
With cream yarn.
(Make 2)
1. CH2 – 3sc in same stitch (3)
2. 3inc (6)
3. [1sc, 1inc] x 3 (9)
f/o and attach.

Cut several strands of dark brown yarn at about 9inches in length. Starting a row above where your ears start on the head attach 2 rows of hair, from one ear to the other. Sew the loose ends into the head, at the row the ears end on. Don’t sew too tight or the head will start to deform. You want them loose, but tight enough to cover the head fully. You don’t want the cream color to show through. You can sew the loose ends out the top and leave them there. They’ll add to the loose ends you’ll be placing there soon.

Once those 2 rows are done, skip a row, and then do the same thing to the next row. Sew it the same way as before. Do 2 rows in the front near the ears to add sideburns.

Now start attaching hair across the entire top of the head. Don’t sew the loose ends in, leave them loose. Once your entire head is covered, slowly begin cutting the hair and styling it. Don’t cut too short, you want the bottom pieces to have some weight so they lay on the head to help cover the cream.

With blue yarn.
1. CH2 – 1sc (1)
2-30. 1sc (If you want a looser tie, add another 10 rows here.)
31. 1inc (2)
32. 1sc, 1inc (3)
33. 3sc
34. 1dec, 1sc (2)
35. 1dec (1)
36. 1slip stitch.
F/o, set aside.

With blue yarn.
1. CH2 – 1sc (1)
2-4. 1sc
f/o, attach to the previous piece around row 8, as a loop in the front. Attach the tie aroudn the neck and pull the thick rows (31-36) through the loop.

All finished!

  • What are the body dimensions?
I’m thinking about using the fallout boy patter but it looks different from the Castiel body and I can’t find a video/pattern with just the body type.

  • Riley Gross says:

My grandma is trying to make this for me and she has a question. She was wondering how to start the head? She got confused at the beginning and is unsure how to start it.

  • Jenny says:
