My Early 2016 Post

By December 26, 2015 2 Comments

Soon 2016 will be upon us. I’ve never been one to make resolutions. I tried to think on why. I’ve seen so many people make them purely as a joke. They’d laugh about vegetables, less caffeine, working out, etc. Never lasting longer than a week, others a month. So let’s try something a little different. Let’s do this the right way. Let’s make it happen.

For the year 2016, I plan on making big changes. I plan on making ArtisticGaming a full fledged, big girl, here’s my card, business. Which is both terrifying and exciting. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while. ArtisticGaming has always made me money, but it was more of a hobby that helped pay the bills. I want to dive into it. I want to take all the ideas that pop into my head and make them a reality. I don’t want to spoil this too much. I want to slowly bring out all the little details.

Part of what I can share is that my work schedule is going to become more consistent. I know I’ll be working more hours, but I need to organize them better. So every week there will be a new blog post. My social media will be be updated more frequently as well. Hopefully my writing skills begin to improve, if only for your sake. Writing is like any exercise with your brain, you gotta keep at it. Even now I feel my writing stiffen and I’m reading it to myself in a monotone. I gotta find my voice again. I have to write often and develop the skill again. Express the passion I once had.

My streaming schedule will become consistent. I won’t be a full time streamer, obviously, but there will be a schedule that you can count on. This will have more “Crochet-A-Longs” and teaching streams sprinkled throughout the year. I may even start streaming some games depending on an upgrade or two I may be getting.

So without spoiling too much, I bid you adieu. I raise my CocaCola water, “to a brand new year of change.”

I look forward to future streams and crochet-a-longs! It’s like having a crocheter’s group without leaving the house!
